talliemedel: TONIGHT 7 PM UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE 307 @. 26TH STREET BTW 8TH & 9TH AVES COCOON CENTRAL DANCE TEAM: THE RECITAL Physical comedy has the ability to transport audiences in a way few other forms of performance can, and Cocoon is nailing it.  Sunita Mani, Eleanore Pienta and myself have a SPANK tonight, and if you are New York-based, you oughta come.  This half hour show is an audition for a run at the theater, an institution that’s been really good to us. $5, ART WAKES UP SLEEPERS NEW YORK! Go see three of my favorite people doing dance things you’ll love trying to imitate for your friends. You will be changed, into a bird. Or a horse. Y’know, or a Ginuwine Pony.
