Anonymous asked: Hey so you posted a list of depressing things and one of them was "untagging or deleting an entire failed relationship's worth of Facebook photos." What's the protocol on this? I am new to failed relationships and I don't know if deleting old couple pictures is optional or not. Also my ex still has an album up titled "true love." That's weird, right? That's weird.

It’s only as weird as you think it is. Personally, I think it’s odd to have those pictures up for all your friends to see because it feels like opening a museum wing dedicated to your failed relationship. And if you WERE to do that, you’d need to devote a smaller sub-wing to the breakup, which would probably just be pictures of half eaten pints of ice cream and Netflix envelopes. Or one night stands clumsily putting on pants with their faces blurred.
